Automated Material Retrieval – Mold Borrowing and Returning Management System
Project Highlights
- RFID electronic tags attached to molds
Each mold is equipped with a unique electronic tag, creating a traceable “digital identity.” Even for large molds or complex environments, the tags can still be read reliably. - Cabinet with built-in RFID gateway (reader + antenna)
Customized antenna layout and reading range are designed according to mold size and cabinet structure, with structural adjustments made as needed to achieve optimal recognition results. - Customized management system aligned with actual borrowing/returning processes
The software is tailored to clients’ internal workflows, including functions such as borrowing registration, automatic return detection, usage record inquiry, and anomaly alerts. - Integration with access control systems to enhance security
By combining with entry/exit access control, mold retrieval requires authorization, preventing unauthorized usage and strengthening asset protection. - Support for integration with ERP / MES / WMS systems
Mold data can be synchronized with existing management systems, integrating work orders, inventory, and process information to enhance consistency and transparency.
RFID, developed as an upgrade from barcode technology, brings higher efficiency and reduces human error in equipment and asset management. Whether managing tools, molds, instruments, or other work assets, adopting an RFID system helps enterprises establish a traceable, visualized, and controllable smart asset management mechanism.
